The beauty of The Lake District

Nestled in the north west of England is the Lake District. The Lake District is the largest national park in England, is home to Scafell Pike (The highest mountain in England) and Wastwater (The deepest lake). It played home to several well known figures such as Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth, and is celebrated as one of the most beautiful places in the UK. After my week there, it is, in my opinion, THE most beautiful. I was just stunned by the scenery. Everywhere was beautiful. So green and natural. Absolutely loved it!

We stayed in the Coniston/ Ambleside area, which is the South Eastern lakes. We visited Coniston, Ambleside, Kendal, Bowness on Windemere, and Beatrix Potter’s house! I’ll post more on these soon, but for now I just want to show you the beauty of the area!
